Dude . . . the rad '60s.


Never see those days again. I once rode my AMF Roadmaster (early 60's) off a slight 9 foot slope/cliff. I landed flat even on the tires, the bike broke in half breaking my fall and I just rolled over not getting hurt at all. Carried my now 2-piece bike to a nearby construction company garage where they generously welded it back together for me. It never rode straight again, broke my heart. You get what you pay for I guess. My dad was pissed about me wrecking the bike and never bought me another one. I was always a speed demon and broke my leg in a wreck with the same bike about 6 months later. Was never allowed near a motorcycle.
