After what seems like dozens of MCU movies I didn't expect this one to be any great shakes, but not only was it perhaps one of the best of the entire series it was one of the better movies period I've seen in a long time. The action sequences are great as always but it's the dialogue, humor, poignancy, and heart that set Marvel movies apart and they're absolutely top-notch here. Characters are almost all well-developed and explored, and there's a ton of fan service but it's meaningful instead of a self-congratulatory rehash (as a good bit of Endgame was). And there are some truly outstanding acting performances here. I will probably go see it again in the theater and I can't remember the last time that happened.
