NC schools apparently can offer in-state tuition to out-of-state athletes.

I don't know if that's what @Vidi Vici Veni is talking about, but that would amount to about a 50% scholarship for every out-of-state guy you can offer that to.

Some of the recent discussion on VT Reach for Excellence was talking about a push to get the state government to offer us the same treatment. That could help the VTAF financially for football (cheaper scholarship payments) but would also be a big deal for partial scholarship sports.
