This was a vibrator, and my mistake was to install batteries in the device before I wrapped it which practically doubled the weight. We were sitting around the president's living room (student government party), when the recipient shook the box. The additional weight caused the device to shoot out of the end of the wrapped box onto the floor. The room went completely silent, then everyone broke out laughing.

I still laugh when thinking about it. I asked her weeks later how she liked it, and she said her mom was using it. (We were good friends, and I knew she wouldn't be offended by the gift. I just didn't expect it to fly out of the package onto the floor...lol I only wanted her to be able to use it that night.)
