Maybe i have it wrong here


As i don't know alot about NIL. But isn't the intent of NIL ruling was that schools don't have to pay athletes but outside entities could pay them? So i see alot of handwringing about the NCAA regulating this. What can they do really? I see unionizing and salary cap etc. This money is from outside entities that wouldn't be under the umbrella of the NCAA. It's like saying pro athletes can't have endorsement deals because it will exceed the salary cap. The NFL doesn't have that jurisdiction.
