College athletics right now, is in a market correction, to use

financial jargon for the stock market.

There's a lot of turmoil and ups and downs right now, but it will all shake out and smooth out over time. I don't think anybody ever envisioned what was going to happen with the transfer portal and the total crap show of NIL deals.

Eventually, it will all work itself out, and things will get on a more normal footing. But until then, there's going to be some hurt. Just like when the market takes a big swing, people are going to lose out on some stuff, like getting a college education.
