the original series ended. Dexter fled Miami to become a lumberjack in Oregon and apparently relocated to a fictional small town in Iron Lake, New York where he is working in a local sporting goods store selling knives and firearms (nice touch).

Wow, how time flies. I thought the season opener was decent but I got a little nostalgic and glad the show is back. I reminisced back to the Big Lebowski movie where Sam Elliot near the end says "I don't know about you but I take comfort in that. It's good knowin' he's out there."
