On the line is something completely different then whatever moral higher ground you think this is. This guys are making decisions that can potentially alter the course of financials for their family for generations. So yeah if I’m Brown, no way in hell am I sticking with the school that doesn’t have an offensive staff named and lined up and just fired the coach I verbally committed to.
Have you ever quit or resign from a job? Ever applied for two different jobs at once? And had to turn one down because you took a better situation? Because if so, for the love of everything good get off the high horse especially if it’s only college football recruits and teenagers you seemingly have an issue with.
I’ll never understand why adults think they understand what these kids (literally aren’t even adults) are going through enough to have to die on the hill of moral superiority.
