I know...but in full disclosure..


1. Rising Sr. HS football player - protein powder and eats us out of house and home. 4000+ calories/day with a shitton of protein

2. The younger kids (and the rising Sr) steal each other's treats/snacks/fun breakfast stuff. Cereal, chip packs and yogurt is like a freaking drug in this house! Wife is tired of policing it...and me too.

3. Wife LOVES to cook and make intricate meals. Here therapy for having to deal with the homeschool/remote learning. Not sure if you or any of your friends have had to do this, but the teachers facilitating remote learning are a crapshoot - parents have to be fully involved and be the baddie when required.

With all that being said, you are right...we could just order takeout...but I could probably shrink that bill by a bit, but then my wife would get pissed and wouldn't cook.

Rock and a hard place, if that makes sense.
