If youre talking about Cornell...


It was because Cornell's strategy was to double the primary ball handler when throwing the ball in to make the secondary guard bring the ball up.

Typically, that would mean throwing the other team out of their rhythm with an unusual ball handler. Because MY doesnt use his PGs the same way as a traditional PG, they dont need to have the ball in their hands to start the offense in the half court. So literally anyone can bring the ball up the floor.

Make no mistake, Murphy and Pedulla are the only PGs with Cattoor being the emergency PG.

Both Murphy and Pedulla have put up solid Defensive Rating numbers, so theres not a big difference there. And both have better DRtg than Bede (obviously a smaller sample size)
