Obviously, you aren't wrong for voicing that opinion. However, I love


college football (I liked it even more when $ was less of a focus, when there was no portal, when it was about student athletes representing their school) and will likely watch 10 bowl games during this holiday season with my sons. It will be both fun and exciting for us.

I would probably be fine with them reducing the number of bowls, but I would like to at least see teams in the top 20 get rewarded by playing against each other in bowls - so that would be at least 11 bowls (taking into account the national championship in the current playoff). But I don't begrudge more bowls, because it allows me to see more college football, including other teams that I have a connection to or interest in.

Where I will agree with you is that I hope the Hokies get a win over Maryland.
