Saban is the biggest believer in ball control offense and Bama has the wherewithal to play smash mouth run-down-your-throat football.

Against UGA, Bama had 33 passing attempts vs 43 rushing yesterday. On paper, that is still run heavy.

But if you look at the stats:

Passing - 12.6/attempt, 417 total
Rushing - 3.4/attempt, 147 total

That is AIR RAID type of attack.

Time has changed.

Also, It’s probably Much harder for run heavy Ball control type of offense To attract Receiver talent in this day and age.
