Couple of reasons...


VT stopped fronting Wahab with help over the top, and instead played behind him forcing his shots further out from the basket. He either wasnt as comfortable taking those shots or they werent as comfortable giving him the ball further out.

He also played well above his minutes per game last night so Im sure he was a little tired. He also played with 4 fouls for a good portion of the last 10 minutes, so he wasnt as active getting 2nd chances.
