I think this is far more likely to work out than if we had been working off the same list as everyone else and gone with the 7th hottest coach that everyone else was going after too, but this is far from a sure thing. If Bud Foster left for a HC job we would react in the exact same way that PSU fans are. That does tell us that he is a high character person and an excellent DC. He might be an excellent HC. He might not be.
