Since he was born in Altoona, this writer developed a relationship with him. Love this quote in his story:

I can say two things without hesitation about Pry:

1. He's an excellent football coach, and ...

2. He's an excellent person -- smart, funny, down to earth, just a regular guy you would enjoy sitting down to have a beer with and talking about football or anything else.
