81 is worse than 95, but I've found the PA Turnpike to be worse than 81

PA Turnpike is narrower, more winding, and you are sandwiched between jersey walls, plus Winter weather is always sketchy. That's not to say 81 is good at all. There are several passages like near Painted Rock and the whole way between Roanoke and just past Christiansburg that are deadly. It's one of the reasons we just don't go down that way anymore.
