Even if I wanted VT to play and maintain the bowl streak I wasn't the guy getting a swab up the nose every few days and doing constant contact tracing and all of the other things they had to do.
I believe it would have been completely unacceptable to even think about shutting it down in a normal year. In this case with the pandemic I get it and I believe many of the players and coaches who came before would have also been ready to get out of dodge with those protocols.
