* He’s 5-0 in bowl games
* He was OC at OSU when they won it all
* His HC years had consistently winning records, despite the fact that the situations he inherited at UH and UT were hardly ideal.
* Being an NFL assistant only adds to his bona fides when recruiting now.

By the way, I would hardly call the B12 a weak conference.
