Fuente is a good X and O guy but terrible at leading a large program, program management, making hard staffing decisions, recruiting, engagement, etc. — he’s best suited to a G5 head coaching role or a P5 coordinator. That’s his future ceiling in my opinion.

Who knows maybe can can rehab his career and get another P5 shot but he was too stubborn and unwilling to change so he has damaged his career, certainly in the short term at the very least.
