I have heard that their latches can be problematic.


The latch has an integral switch that prevents the cycle from beginning if the door is not fully closed. Apparently it's not unusual for the latch switch to fail. I tried replacing that first on our dishwasher, but it didn't sove the problem, so then I had to begin doing some deeper troubleshooting and determined it was the user interface control board.

Might be something to keep an eye on if you continue to have issues.
