Huff checks most of the boxes, most importantly he...


fits the VT culture and our immediate needs, better than some being mentioned.
HC experience and success at this level is important, but not always an accurate predictor. If memory serves me, LSU fired its HC only a few years after winning the NC, and Frank Beamer was at Murray State.
Then Whit is also limited by availability and perhaps has some fiscal restraints.
Lots of sound reasons to make a play for Huff.
