that much competition against many of the coaches we would be looking at. 3 of the jobs are west coast jobs and from reviewing UW potential candidates there is zero overlap there. I assume WashSt and USC pretty much land in the same category. The only impact could be whatever ripples USC creates downstream (e.g. they hire Franklin). The 2 jobs in the SEC are not really competing for the same guys with maybe the exception of Napier. We may have gotten on him quickly and maybe he feels LSU is "slow playing" him for Riley giving us a slight chance but if FL is interested we have no shot. So really TCU may be the only real competition for a coach we have and I would even bet we are on different wavelengths. Anyway, as the field sits right now it seems it is a good year to have a vacancy vs. what the twitterverse says.
