I was at the game last night.


I was smiling at the end even though we lost, Miami fans asked me how I felt about it. I said “we fired our coach and we only have maybe 4 more quarters of this staff.”
Two Miami fans both agreed and said we are lucky. They wish they’d clean house as well. One chimed in saying Diaz probably saved his job last night with the win. He also asked if Bud foster would come back, I said no. He quickly replied, they should’ve given it to him when Beamer retired. I didn’t disagree but hindsight is a great thing. Overall, I had a good time, VTs defense was terrible in the pass game. Miami fans def. do not care about football like we do in Blacksburg.
