Im worried that if Whit is real fit for VT????


He might be better fit for a private urban school, than a land grant.

Weaver, he was a PENN State guy, played linebacker, and athletic management experience at PSU, Florida (he cleaned the mess at Florida after Charlie Pell) and hired as AD to clean up the mess at UNLV after tarkanian and then Western Michigan (before VT swept in)

he understand that athletic dept role in a major land grant state university..

That is essential

I also think the other hire will be to hire a FOOTBALL guy to be the Associate AD for football. it needs attention. (Carla Williams, the AD at UVA, was the associate AD for football at GA (she was responsible for the hiring of the current coach at UGA). enough said. (our AD hiring experience Tubby tubberville (agh) and now Fuente (agh).
