It was a OOC dual.

It might result in VT's team now being ranked below OSU, but that doesn't have any effect on the national championship, or how the team finishes nationally.

The only thing that matters is how you do in the NCAAT. You want as many guys to qualify as possible, then win as many matches as possible...hopefully with multiple national champions every year. Your team's finish is based on how many points your wrestlers accumulate.
