The 757 is to high school football talent what the U is to elite college


football programs. Entitled, living on the reputation of past generations of greatness, and lacking the substance/grit/chip that made those previous generations hungry, dedicated, and passionate.

Obviously, I’m making a sweeping generalization that doesn’t apply to all 757 players. But that whole region has a reputation that is really based on things that happened 10-20 years ago.
