I view it similar to MY in basketball


The single biggest key in that hire working was him knowing that he needed to upgrade assistant coaches for the P5 level and who balanced his specific coaching skills (o vs D).

Fu brought a lot of his Memphis staff with him and we have played and recruited like Memphis ever since.

A G5 coach or assistant who makes the jump can be successful if they pick the right staff. That is key

And just like MY, if you’ve got a great dude who is open and friendly and loves VT, that is HUGE and very valuable as well. JC really impressed today on that front.
