THe boosters and fans want someone to energize the football program. The AD wanted a balanced all sports program, and the money wasn't worth it.

Also for all information. Kiffen likes a more metropolitan environment. He has his wife hated tennessee. They liked LA. Miami has the same environment. Remember he coached at Florida Atlantic. Oxford is not all that...

Also, he can work his but off at Ole Miss and still be 2-3 in the division and further down with Oklahoma and Texas. Miami and the ACC is much more manageable.

maybe ACC football isn't as bad as some media sources advise
