to watch. I feel like a week or so ago, most felt like he would be great for VT but no way we could get him because he has a good setup where he is. Now there is a segment already poo-pooing the hire as Whit making another "Tommy Tubberville hire" because there are reports he is a leading candidate and he was less dismissive in his response to the question than Shane was when asked about it.

Whether or not he would leave depends on what his priorities are but I think VT could present a compelling opportunity for him that Wake can't provide. VT football can be taken seriously on the national scene - it would take a lot longer for Wake to accomplish the same, IMO.
