Wizards GM Tommy Sheppard has done a helluva job. And....


... he got new coach Unseld in there too, who must be adding some cohesion there. And a legacy hire at that! Thinking outside the box by going back in the box.

That said, I make a point of ignoring the NBA for numerous reasons. But the Wizards fast start on the heels of a coaching change really got my attention. The other night I actually watched some of the game on TV! First NBA I've watched since maybe 2009.

I was able to tolerate about 10 min of it and the Wiz looked good and seemed to have the game well in hand. So I tuned out -- can't take but so much NBA.
