I think the deal is that NCAA wrestling ticket allocations are always very limited. We sometimes get more ticket requests than we can fulfill out of our allocation. So I'm pretty sure that they keep the distribution narrow so that our tickets don't go to brokers or fans of other programs.

That way it works (for those invited) is you apply through the ticket office website like you do for ordering other tickets. This way, they know how many people need tickets. We won't know how many tickets we have allocated until January, so it will be a while before you know if you will end up getting a ticket.
