The Hokies will honor Bob Schulman, the "VT guy," who passed away last year, at the under 16 timeout in the second half. . As the Cassell Guard said in their tweet yesterday, Bob was "the epitome of what it means to be a Hokie." ❤️🦃

Bob had only one job in his entire life - and that was in the Statistic Department at Virginia Tech, where he has been inducted into the Virginia Tech Academy of Teaching Excellence. He passed away last year after a brief but courageous battle with lung cancer.

This video in the tweet below was from the final game of the 2019-2020 season when the Cassell Guard came over and got Bob and invited him to lead the cheer from the front row of the student section.

It would turn out to be his last game he saw in person, but he was so tickled that they Guard came and got him.
