I' ve tried to put myself in Babcock's


position with a new head coach hire. I think I would look to a young hungry personable coordinator who could build back up our recruiting, esp. In Virginia. Because he is not a former head coach his salary would be less. Someone like say Dabo Sweeney. Extra money paid to top offensive and defensive coordinators and give him 3 to 4 years to succeed.
One thing I know. If we don't get a massive dose of talent on this team no one will succeed.
Who that individual is I have no idea. But I' m not crazy about hiring retreads even if they have name recognition.
