NIL is/will completely transform college football. I am thinking we need to bake this into the next HC hire. Talk about how we recruited VA in the 90s is irrelevant today as the landscape has changed 100% with social media. Add NIL money and relationships withVA high schools will only get you so far. They can help you identify a diamond in the rough (2* in a smaller program that will play like a 4*) but getting 4-5* players will require more. Going forward my guess is the best recruiter is one that can best drive NIL revenue to the team (legally). I want HC to be more of a CEO of VT FB which means be personable and help pry open donar dollars more so than just about anything else. He can hire a team to master the X's and O's and player development. He also needs to be smart enough not to screw up in-game management which I am surprised seemed to be beyond our current HC
