team after a number of losses. He then essentially admitted he wasn't doing any official on-field coaching up to that point. So I'm trying to figure out what Fuente actually did as HC up to this point if he wasn't actually coaching. He doesn't officially coach any position (Corny teaches QB's). I do remember a statement he made in the past that he was busy trying to make sure the kids meet curfew and study hall etc., things that could easily been delegated to someone else, or even his secretary. Frankly I thought he did more.

Over the past several years, he has let Corny run the offense into the ground, and frankly its too late to bring it back no matter what he does now. He has played a direct hand, due to his lackadaisical approach to coaching, in bringing this team to its current failures.

Btw, Beamer to his credit stated he couldnt sit by and do nothing and that why he decided to teach special teams.
