That guy was in way over his head. He had never been a college bball head coach, and took his first HC job at VT…in the ACC…when the ACC was head and shoulders the best bball conference in the country. Yikes. Recipe for disaster. Don’t blame the guy. Shouldn’t have even offered him the job.

Fuente has been a HC before.

The analogy to JJ applies to Shane Beamer…cutting his teeth as a HC in the freaking SEC. good luck, brother!
