there was. I agree it's wrong, and generally not a good look, to just assume that when we lose a recruit it's because they got paid. It's not fair to the kid, and it makes us look like sore losers.

That said, it doesn't seem impossible to me. You seem very confident that no money changed hands. I'm just curious how you could be so sure that a recruit in Florida didn't receive money from a booster in Texas. And you seem equally confident about pretty much any other recruit we lose. How can one person be so close with all of these recruits to be so confident as you are that they haven't received any money? A bag of cash in a hotel room is an easy thing to hide.

I mean no offense, and I don't intend to imply that any money was exchanged. I think it's ridiculous to just assume that it was. I'm just curious where your confidence comes from.
