I stopped by to visit one of my customers yesterday


He is a Duke guy, saw my VT fleece and started talking football. He says he is friends with the dad of a guy who used to play for the team. I’m thinking it is some reserve or walk on I’ve never heard of because it just felt like that would be the odds. He then says the kid’s last name is Hooker. I stopped for a second and said guess he’s glad he transferred and doing well? He confirmed. I said seems like he is getting “different” coaching. He again agreed. Said he is doing really well there. Not just on the football field.

It was good to hear. Wish him the best, glad he made a good decision.
