The starters from 2019 would beat our starters today and probably outshoot them and definitely out-athlete them, especially with equal levels of coaching.

I'd take the proven post depth from the late-aughts over 2 starters and 3 guys who have barely played. I felt a lot more confident in our physicality against what was then a much more physically dominant conference when we were trotting out Jeff Allen, Diakite, JT Thompson, Witcher, and Davila on a nightly basis.

But combined we've never had anything like this, I remember thinking Vassallo-Delaney-Hudson-Bell were good shooters but looking back at their stats I'm surprised we took any 3s at all. Maybe that's why it felt like CSG coached teams could never score.
