I am an only child

And my fathers siblings only had three kids a half a country away (and they never raised them). Also, my mom’s younger brother (recently departed) had one child 30 years younger than me who I have met twice and is now lost in the penal system.

My wife’s brother lives far away and he is not married and is not interested in kids as he enters his 50’s.

I only have my wife and four kids (one of them is deceased). I will share this with my boys and daughter. They are all their separate ways in college and medical school. I don’t think they really text each other or really talk that much but I hope they do sometime.
