For me that’s Dave Clawson. We are not a glitz and glamor school and we have no desire to be that. We are mostly engineers and business owners and upper management who did not inherit anything but a strong work ethic. Frank Beamer was that way and built a Hall of Fame career. Mike Young is that way. They had to work twice as hard as many, but they treated people with respect and their players worked their fanny’s off especially in the off season. I want that type of guy, tough when you need tough, but love when you need love. Tough needs to come when you are up and love needs to come when you are down. Dave Clawson seems to be that guy and probably Luke Fickell, but he’s likely headed to a B1G job where they pay him at least 50% more. There might be others, but those two stand out.
