Planted my Hokie trees a few months ago and was getting worried the


nursery steered me wrong, but the sugar maple is starting to turn orange and the two red maples (october glory?) are clearly turning maroon. Up here in PA future residents may not get the Hokie legacy I left in the woods. My mother in law thinks I'm crazy, but she's a 91-year-old trash-talking Wahoo -- in a fun way, actually.
