I had a discussion bout this with a junior female pilot a couple years ago.


Every little mistake she made, or even when I was just pointing a different way to do a certain task in the flight management system, etc, she would say "I'm sorry". Everyone of these points - I made. It was a bit of hers that she didn't even know she was doing. It was a struggle for her, but she got better.
