Jay Norvell - no connections in Va that I know of. All of his career spent west of the Mississippi. No idea of his recruiting but would take a while to establish relationships.
Shane Beamer - for those still trying to make this happen, the ship has sailed at least for now. He is in the 1st year of a contract so in addition to buying out Fu, you also have to buy out Shane. And for the number of people here who want to wait until December 16th to make a move, I don’t think that extra is in play.
Hugh Freeze - as many others have said, his stench from his last stop will keep him from even making it through the front door at VT IMO
Huff - 1 of 2 realistic names on the list IMO
Chadwell - 2 of 2 realistic names on the list.

I said it was lazy because there are other names and other lists that bear consideration that are better options. I like Huff but think he needs more prove it time at a program like Marshall. I also have concerns Chadwell’s offense would be easily defendable in P5 once a year or two of film gets out.
So yes a lazy article. I just gave more substance in my post than that article did.
And yes most would be better than our current situation. Which is not the point of my post even though you tried to make it that.
