He's inexperienced


Jham is extremely young. he was building as a cb/safety coach (after just one year as graduate assistant) and now assigned as defensive coordinator for a power five school. He just needed development time before he assumed these duties.

unfortunately, he will be part of the clean out of the staff if the coaching is replaced. These things happen. (If he would accept returning to a position coach, and the new staff keep ryan smith, it would be ok.
