So...


Unsuccessful misdirection runs called early in the season, set with not enough downfield passing. Complaints rain down.

This game was the fairly opposite of that. Complaints rain down.

Pitt plays a similar def to Bud. Corners on an island - with focus on stopping RB. Between BB missing a few, wind taking some, and WR drops/misses...we attacked the most attackable. Also why mobile QB troubles them.
Add several missed PI calls that would have at minimum extended drives, if not lead to points, or forced Pitt to play looser early on. The score and pace of the game would have been different. I'm not claiming different outcome overall...but surely different.
