on my part and one might or might not be greater than the other:

- Embarrassed by the cold-shakes episode. Some folks might want to run and hide. That wasn't a good look. But I think we'd all have moved on from that. Maybe not the coach though and I say that as someone who played under a coach who could not let stuff go and often played lesser capable players because he could/would not let stuff go.
- He felt that overcoming the barrier that Burmeister's competion presented might be too great to overcome, especially given the possible reason above. Something he mentioned at the beginning of last year about Burmeister being a playmaker makes me think this could be part of the mix.
- Not a good body type for the system he was playing in. Unless you are a Jerod Evans, who is?
- He wasn't getting the coaching he needed and figured out that greener pastures for him lay somewhere else. This seems most likely.

Personally, I always thought he showed more potential than Burmeister whom I am happy to have here. We are where we are.
