Pitt lost that game because their defense came out flat after an emotional upset victory over Tennessee the week prior. They have two weeks to prepare and won’t come out flat against us in a meaningful conference game. And I dare to say, a VT offense without Burmeister is probably worse than Western Michigan’s.
