It's because we have horrible coaches and a mediocre team. It's not like we're 2 plays away from being undefeated because the ball hit someone's fingers and the other team made an insane play and we just lost that toss of the dice.

I recall the 1998 VT team, or the 1992 WVU teams... both were very close to being great and were a few unlucky plays or 1 position short of greatness, and went on to go undefeated the next year.

We're not that. We're a horrible team who struggled with Richmond and lost winnable games vs. a terrible WVU team and a mediocre Domer team at home no less. Next year isn't going to be better.
