Oh, I'm sure there's a handful who have now mentally quit the team.

Every year, count on it. Once it gets tough, and we lose the games we should win, there's a bunch who start looking ahead to the transfer portal. That's the state of NCAA football now and it's killing our program. The counter to it is a mentally-tough coach who will do anything to keep the kids. We don't have that, rather the opposite.
